Sam is the first Beagle in our
family and he taught us all about Beagles. As a
youngster he had his own head but soon we learnt to
udnerstand each other and today he performs
obedience with the accuracy of a Border Collie so it's
possible I will take him to obedience exams. Sam is
also our tourist dog - he has traveled literally
through out Europe - from Finland to Italy, from the
Netherlands to Moldavia and everywhere he has been a
wonderful companion which he does best. At shows he
sometimes did better, sometimes worse but anyway
with 10 Championships hi still is one of the most
titled dogs around. This year he celebrated his 12th
birthday and fortunately he is in excellent health
condition. He is still the leader of our pack and
all members show natural respect to him. One of
Sam's hobbies is to welcome his people when they
return home (may they have been away for 5 minutes
out in the garage!) he collects all toys and
anything that is avalialble and stuffs it all in his
mouth and comes waggling at us as the warmest
welcome! |
